As part of the commitments of FVC&PA, Donatienne Coffy and Julien David, consultants of the firm, participated, November 24, 2011 at a breakfast discussion held at the Royal Monceau on "competitiveness", with Ren‚ Ricol. The Commissioner-General for investment, in charge of investments for the future, was appointed Wednesday, November 23, 2011 by the President of the Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, general coordinator of French business support policies.

He spoke on the financial and dept crises, being a central issue for the states and companies.

Given the political earthquake and risks for societies that by these market disruptions created, the politicians must now demonstrate responsibility and real political leadership. This could, for instance, been seen in Italy or Greece.

For Ren‚ Ricol, ?we must stand firmly together in these times of crises?.

Therefore, to help businesses grow and develop, and strengthen French SMEs and medium-sized companies (ETI), the new general coordinator of business support policies outlined three priorities:

- Reducing payment delays that hamper small business subcontractors, by removing unnecessary exceptions for different business branches.
- Creating stronger links of solidarity between the big companies and their sub-contractors and suppliers
- Creating more awareness of the weight of real estate companies for business.

In this respect, Rene Ricol welcomed the responsibility shown by the national and local public authorities who were able to transcend political differences and work together to simplify business support policies.
